vR Systems AG's history in Delémont
- In october 1883 : the "Société des aciéries Louis de Roll" company bought the Rondez high-stove.
- A machine manufacture was developed in parallel.
- In 1960 : among these activities, a shipping and paper handling line was created.
- Our company name throughout the years :
- Until 1995: Von Roll SA then Von Roll SA Machines et Manutention, subsidiary from Berne
- In 1996: Von Roll Handling Systems Ltd, an independant company inside the Von Roll group
- In 1999: Valmet Roll Handling, the Valmet group has bought our company
- In 2001: Metso Paper AG: Valmet changed the corporate name to Metso Paper (Metso group)
- In March 2007: vR Systems AG, with a new structure of owners: Mr. Kari Nettamo - Metso - Pesmel
